Step by step by step, this dash up Golden Peak in ski/snowboard boots is a human-vs-mountain grinder that will put speed and endurance to the test. Give yourself an individual challenge or go for the gold as you take on the one mile Winter Mountain Games Stadium Course. 1/2 mile up, 1/2 mile down.
FAMILY FRIENDLY OPTION:
Bring the whole family to compete in the .25 mile GOGO Gopher Hill Course. Either way this fun and friendly event will build both stamina and comradery among its participants. * Prize for best dressed, let’s make it fun!

Rules
Required Equipment
- Alpine or Telemark boots are required for the Ski Boot divisions.
- Snowboard boots are required for the Snowboard Boot divisions.
- Helmets are required for all participants. No exceptions.
- The following boots are NOT allowed: Nordic boots, other shoes or other boots.
FORMAT & RULES
- Racers will be sent out in wave starts based on age/category. Start positions within each category will not be pre-determined and it is up to the athlete to get into desired start location.
- The Winter Mountain Games Stadium Course course is a 1 mile track. The Winter Mountain Games GoGo Gopher Hill Course is .25 miles.
- Athletes will follow GREEN course marking signs.
- There will be one aid station at the start/finish area where water and sports drink will be provided.
- No tripping, shoving or horseplay will be tolerated and any athlete participating in foul play will be pulled from the course and disqualified.
- Competitors who start significantly after the posted start time will still be clocked from the mass start time. No exceptions will be made.
- The Family Fun Division requires a minimum of one adult and one child [12 and under].

PRIZES
1st, 2nd and 3rd place men and women All Star Division finishers will receive a Winter Mountain Games medal. Medals will be awarded to all participants in the Kids and Family Fun divisions.
